This shot was taken at what had to be an unofficial photography studio for railfan photographers: Delaware & Hudson's SK yard, once a part of the Erie's East Buffalo yard complex. Under Erie Lackawanna, this area was the platform for EL's passenger station that replaced the Lackawanna's terminal in downtown Buffalo. This track is long gone. N&W 4104 has been upgraded to a GP38-2 and is now NS 5504. I liked the "Skunk" scheme, I however, think it was not a universally shared opinion.
