Of interest to RDC watchers is the near truck of this car is from one of NP's earlier Budds, as all Phase II cars, like the B-41, carried cast frame trucks, instead of the fabricated type used on most of the older cars. The reason this car is bound for Indianapolis is that it had been acquired from BN by Amtrak, but was never used by that agency. What brought it through Charlottesville, VA on that journey, is a mystery.
