If I remember correctly, on the Missouri Pacific the Eagle located on the long hood indicated a turbocharged diesel engine. Non-turbo units like the trailing GE had the unit number in place of the eagle. I liked the Missouri Pacific, but had to travel all the way across Kentucky to see any of it.
