That sure is purdy, Mitch, and an inspiration for composition alternatives when facing what might otherwise be difficult light to shoot with. But doesn't "sunset" usually imply a sun down close to the horizon? ;)

Great tonality, composition and content That sky just blows it over the top! I'm voting PCA on this one.

I have not been a fan of most of the photos from this charter but this one, well it's a cut above the rest.

Outstanding! This is a vision of Heaven I like. I love the drama of the clouds and the perfect silhouette of the wheels. I am glad to see backlighting so well shown to advantage here on RP. Well done Mitch.

Nice job on the processing here, Mitch. Great contrast in all the right places and a dash of shadow detail where my eye begs for some. Backlit is beautiful!

I'm a big fan of any shot that includes crepuscular rays...mostly because I like to say "crepuscular rays"...but this is just stunning. You don't realize how many things you have to do right to make a shot like this work until you try it and fail as often as I do. Really well done! :)

Wonderfully dramatic.....a very creative exploitation of the great sky we had that day. You did good!
