Model railroaders, please note that if a former trestle is replaced with a new structure. Simply cut off what is left and install the new bridge. Study the area under this bridge to see what remained of the old structure. Also the railroad installed Rip Rap to prevent erosion. Thanks for posting your informative photo Carl.
