Thanks for posting recent pictures of 2124. The Reading T-1's are definitely a sight to behold. I got to see 2124's sister (2101) operate during the Chessie Steam Special Tours....very nice locomotives indeed!

We rode behind her from Lansdale to Schwenksville and back on a Ramble, 9/16/61.

Personally, I think they need to drop those Canadian locomotives they have running, and get some AMERICAN locomotives running. They are supported by the USA Government, yet they do not run any American Made locomotives. They should get this locomotive running since it is an AMERICAN work horse. Nothing against Canada, but an American supported railroad should really have an American made engine running.

You're right, and they're going to get Baldwin 26 running, and possibly Boston & Maine 4-6-4 3717. There are rumors that Steamtown is going to restore 759. Remember, American steam is rare. And, it'll cost a ton to get 2124 running again.
