There is also that nice clean "Wheel Chock" which would not have been there if this photo were posed in the steam days.

Considering the fact that C&O #614 is sitting posed under a giant brightly lit white truss canopy, I do not believe Chase was going for a nostalgia in this composition! Nice shot, Chase and a special thanks to the crew of volunteers posing strictly for the love of railroading and the machines that served both the C&O and the N&W.

Bill, This photo was taken after the event was over. The actors wanted a group shot together. During the main event, the chock would of been hidden.
