Thanks for the history lesson, but it leaves me wanting more. Which road built this bridge originally? Obviously the original must have been built in 1871 if it was delayed by the great Chicago Fire, but clearly the bridge in this photo is much newer. What year was it built? Nice to see something different from a rarely photographed part fo the country.
