Pete - Amtrak no longer operates Metroliners as the Acelas replaced them. The The last day of Metroliner operation was Friday, Oct. 27, 2006. I suspect the train in your image is a Regional. When AEM7 powered Metroliners ran they usually had 5 or 6 car consists. Very nice image though!
