Joe, Thank you for posting this beautiful picture. I was only 4 or 5 when these beautiful engines roamed the IC rails. I only have vague memories of seeing them in person and treasure every picture I can view. Thanks again, John G.

I agree with other comments. I feel the IC passenger scheme was quite simple but very attractive. Traveling alongside the IC most of the way from Chicago to Louisiana to visit relatives EVERY summer in the 50's and 60's gave me the opportunity to see those wonderful, colorful passenger trains.
