Great shot, as always, but not South Amboy. No catenary. I was thinking maybe Red Bank a little west of the station??

Nice photo of Pennsy's finest doing what she was designed and built for - fast passenger service! This is one of the few K4s that didn't get a complete front end make over during the course of her life. This K4s still has an old style slotted pilot instead of a solid cast steel one that got applied to many of her sisters. Thanks for sharing this gem.

The yellow vehicle coming down the street at the right is a "woodie" station wagon, a car type that would be favored by "surfers" in California.
