This is interesting Stephen. Does anyone know why this train always comes with septa coaches? The mix of old and new car styles and paint schemes really adds to this picture.

The Septa coach use is two fold as Septa has spare coaches for the weekend and they are cheaper to rent than the Amtrak coaches. At least that's what I was told. The Amtrak coach is there as the Septa ones didn't have a bathroom, if my memory serves me correctly from when I rode the train.
