Just alike but not exactly twins, they are of the same family, Alco and were born the same year. Number 1186 is the rather plane sister, with friction bearings and two side windows and a smaller horn set. Number 958 is the glamor girl of this pair, with the bright trim around the end cab windows and three pane side windows, she also has roller bearing trucks and a larger horn set, and the yellow FRA striping along her frame is a nice addition. The snow plows with their stripes more than make up for the lack of the foot boards these likely came with. Thanks for the posting of these wonderful photos Mr. Boudrow.
