Doug......Thanks for all the photos from this era. I always wanted to spend some time at Marshall seeing a few photos in Trains Mag always shot from the bridge but never made it. Your photos have allowed me to spend some time in a place that like everything else, is only a shadow of its former self. Thanks again.....Tom Farence.

Are you sure it's not the Mainstreeter? The NCL was a night train normally through Spokane.

I'm wondering about those non-NP cars in the consist. If it's 1968, it can't be BN, but those first two non-NP cars look like CB&Q while the next one may be SP&S.

The NP had some stainless steel Slumber Coaches.
