Evan... Very nice photo that brings back a lot of fond and not-so-fond memories for me! I was the assigned signal maintainer at Milan when you took this photo and a little bit of my recent handiwork is in evidence by the fresh coat of paint on the old Wabash-era train order signal next to the tower. It was an interesting era to be working for the "new" Norfolk Southern. The Southern units were a welcome and refreshing change in scenery from the drab black "NW" locos we were used to seeing through here. Thanks for sharing this classic view with us and please feel free to post more from Milan when you can.
