Wonderful!!

Street running is such a unique and fascinating combination that thrusts trains, motor vehicles and pedestrians together. I guess having patients is definitely a virtue in this type of situation!

Looking at the thumbnail, I thought this picture was from the 50's. What a dreary day.

Wonder if there's a correlation between the bar name and the train

Thanks guys for the nice comments! Some additional info for those interested, the "Iron Horse" bar sign was erected after filming of the movie "Nobody's Fool" back in '94 and it fits nicely with the current street running scene making it a very unique location in the northeast if not North America to shoot a train. The lashup is a bit unusual in that the trailing GP40-2 '6234' is a bit of an outlander oddball on the Hudson Line. The '8844' is a former Conrail SD40-2 with cab signals and the modified plow(for the third rail) and a common visitor in Hudson. This is the first day in the new year it briefly skipped above the freezing mark in what has been so far a pretty mean winter season in upstate NY.

I LOVE this photo. The overcast sky on a winter day, street running, the architecture of the small town buildings, the woman standing outside for a smoke. the parked cars and the slightly off-center presence of the train all make this one of my favorites. Excellent photo, Gary.
