Kodachrome after 54-years. Amazing. Thanks for the memories, this is one of the best roster shots of a GG-1 that I have seen to date!

Note the wheel arrangement,2-D-2, not 2-C+C-2, which is that of GG1. These streamstyled bodies, with the crew being placed in a safer place, were the result of an accident occuring at Deans, NJ when a passenger train powered by an original P5a, struck a loaded dump truck with the crew being killed!

No. 4744 has a 2-C-2 wheel arrangement, not 2-D-2 as I incorrectly posted earlier. Sorry for the mistake due to my eagerness in posting a comment.
