Ya know, Frank, I started railfanning at the time when I thought of GP-30s as "pretty new power" and the GP-40-2 seems like it just came out yesterday, pretty much. Now I know intellectually this is not true but it seems that way. I guess that means I'm vintage. Not vintage enough to remember the South and North Alabama, thank goodness.
