Very nice patina on the truck and even the ballast. Nice capture of a little slice of Appalachia. Hope that ole boy has his safety glasses on. HA!

There are quite a few of those old track mobiles still in use in the Los Angeles basin, however I think they are being replaced by the CAT front end loader with a chain, or the forklift with a knuckle method of car movement.

Well, if the trackmobile's older than a 67', then you'd be correct. It may even be powered by a ford engine, making it a photo of a ford powered trio! Nifty!
