Nice shot of post-merger equipment ! Actually I suppose this is really the Southern Pacific, rather than the D&RGW. When the Grande bought out SP, it took on the name of the larger company for the sake of "brand identity", as well as the track routes (including this one in Plano, TX). Hardly any DRGW equipment was painted into SP colors, before both of them started being "patched" for Union Pacific, making this a bit of an unusual photo !
