Thats just plain dangerous. leaves a big open hole if they should get into a crossing incident. at the very least it freezes the toilet water tank and creates bad walking conditions inside the nose.

Or maybe it was like this: Last night when Frank said, "Hey, let's get some mexican food", I knew the next day I'd either be hardly able to breathe or freezing my tail end off.

Maybe this crew was from way up north and figured it just wasn't there kind of weather so they opened the door to feel more at home in there environment. I do agree on the dangers for the crew aboard this train however as freezing condition may result in injuries to one/both crew members. Remember to all you employees of any railroad business, SAFETY FIRST!
