This is a shot looking south from the Roosevelt Road (12th Street) bridge with the Amtrak (ex-PRR) coach yard to the left and the BN (ex-CB&Q) coach Yard to the right. A BN commuter (dinkey) is turning left (west) to head for the suburbs. The South Branch of the Chicago River Bridge is dead ahead. What is interesting is the two coupled Amtrak trains. Are they coming or going from the station? To or from the yards? It's hard to tell the time of day but given that the BN yard looks empty, it may be early evening and all/most the short Amtrak trains should be in the station or gone.
