Great shot!This is actually the westbound Canadian leaving Montreal so Windsor station was the first stop.
We can see a westbound CN train in the background to the right of the picture.

The CPR "Canadian" out of Montreal was not the "Montreal section". It *was* the "Canadian", trains 1 and 2; the rump north from Toronto was the "section", joining the mainline train off a stub at Sudbury.
