If Morant had been CN's company photographer, this curve would carry his name. Outstanding atmosphere you've captured here, Jeff.

That is really an awesome shot with the cold darkness of the photo and the warm glow of the interior lights. With that stainless steel Budd equipment, it looks more like a shot from the 1950's. Great work!

The exposure is right on the mark, and I love the clearly lit images viewed through the windows, showing the warmth within, contrasting with the cold outside. I'll consider this the first Christmas Card of the year! Great job, Jeff.

Most of us would have given up long before and gone someplace warm. Terrific balance--many thanks for posting.

I second the motion for using this as a Christmas card photo (or holiday card photo for those of other beliefs or customs). The curve, the partially frozen river, the snow on the evergreen trees' branches, the rugged snowy mountains in the background, the last light of day, and the vista dome observation car all lit up, make this a PCA and Favorite Photo for me, and I've voted accordingly!

Great stuff, Jeff. Hope you didn't get too cold waiting for #1. Can't help wondering what it would look like at Morant's Curve on the CP. Oh wait, before 1990, I knew what it would look like. Thanks, Briam Mulroney.

Amazing evening capture, Jeff. The angle is just right. Brings back marvellous memories of drifting through the rockies seated in a dome observation.

Stunning! This brings back soo many memories of my ride on the "CANADIAN". I purchased many postcards, I wish this was one of them. You SHOULD submit this to VIA RAIL CANADA. Thanks for ALL your postings.

Gosh- I had to do a double take on that as it looks like Morant's Curve. I thought did #1 detour over the CP? Great photo- the image of the lone passenger in the obs makes it.
