Great job Jeff - my kind of shooting weather. Can't beat fresh snow, a clean unit, and nice blue skies.

Depending upon your beliefs, this is either God's country, mother nature's splendor, or you're undecided where the credit for this striking vista should go. Take your pick, its a free country! No matter what you believe, I think everyone with a brain and good eyesight can agree that this is very scenic, beautiful, awe-inspiring mountain wilderness up there, and the photo was taken at a great time of the year for stunning results. The perspective, composition, lighting and color are 1st class! Great choice of location, with the lake and the curves. The blue sky contrasting with the white snow doesn't hurt either. Congratulations on your well-deserved SC. You've earned a PC and Favorite Photo from me as well. This photo is a real "keeper;" very nice indeed!

Ah, this is the photo you were telling us about down in Centralia. An absolute stunner, Jeff!

Beautiful scene. I passed by that location yesterday on VIA 1 with your image very much in mind, and as best as I could tell you did some reasonably serious walking in the cold. The stretch of railroad between the park boundary and Jasper are among my favorites, and your photo is a good example of why.

A thoroughly deserved reward for the effort you expended to capture this shot; congrats, Jeff!

Picture perfect shot Jeff. Even the lead engine is nice and clean. Well done. Martin :)
