Southern served the South in a classy way. Does anyone railfan Alabama now?

Out-freaking-standing! That shot has completely grown up nowadays. Do you have any shots of the signals up there when they were searchlights?

The road number 224, makes this one of the SD35s originally delivered fully lettered for Central of Georgia, so this one's on home rails.

Nice one Bernie. White flags on a white striped unit on white ballast with white tank cars in tow going by a white building. All that's missing is the snow.

Nice shot, Bernie. Here's one of sister units SOU 223 on a freight at Salisbury, NC in 1975. http://www.railpictures.net/viewphoto.php?id=101085&nseq=0
