They sure have come a long way from the days of simply spray painting a line through the old reporting marks.

Nice catch, Craig! Judging by the numberboard housings and old blanked-out headlight housings, these are without a doubt ex-Southern Pacific SW1500s. It's very cool to see them get a new life and a very snappy and attractive paint job.
