Posted by Driftwood on October 25, 2018  "GV" stands for Genesee Valley Transportation. The Genesee Valley company ran (and runs) many shortline operations in upstate New York and northeastern Pennsylvania. Since both of these locos also came from Central Vermont, it was also a very ingenious use of the CV "wet noodle) logo!
