After doing a lot of growing up years in N&W and SOU territory, any locomotive orientation other than what this SD45 exhibits still looks a bit odd.

I'm sure passengers on the excursion were very disappointed with this motive power change at the time.... Now we're enjoying the 'vintage' SD-45. Great shot, thanks for sharing.
