There is a man who cares nothing about his safety... Shame on the Engineer for letting that happen. Both men are at fault here.

Wow....dangerous position with that little space between car and locomotive...he's 1 lucky, or daring, individual.

I don’t know what rules this railroad operate under but maybe they have some kind of protection in place like a three step. It is obvious the locomotive knuckle is misaligned so he has got to adjust it, however I don’t condone his method of doing so when the knuckle is reachable without standing in the middle of the tracks. Safety first.
