The winter of 1976-77 was one for the books. On this date Mudville was still snowbound, and I was trying to get warm without being busted for driving to/from work due to a driving ban.

This brings back memories as on this same date I was laying oak floor in my first home and almost became snowbound in it from the same storm as it pummled Falmouth, Massachusetts. Thanks Tom!

A photo from railfans' heaven! Alco PA's in D&H colors with varnish rushing through the snow. What more could you wish for? This would make a fantastic Christmas or Winter Holiday card. PCA was well-deserved. This is one of my Favorite Photos and I will so indicate below.
