That is a very interesting looking mast just to the left of the rear of the first car. It looks like a signal, but the head is very unusual.

Amazing shot Tom, alot has changed at this spot, very little of it for the better, Terminal station is missed thats for sure. I must try someday to get a modern day version of this shot.
