Your description very much echoes my only visit to Jitong in Jan '98; frankly it was just too cold, and the northerly wind blew the smoke across for most shots as well. I recall the hospitality from the railwaymen up the pass. This is a fabulous shot; all yours are much better than anything I got that trip.
