Very sad news, I always enjoyed seeing pictures of the sharply painted CBQesque SW prowling the industrial trackage of Chicago.

What is the future for this locomotive? Patch job or full repaint?

The locomotive was a full repaint to honor the original builder of the line, CB&Q, the line was never sold by BNSF but instead was leased to CIRY, back in May the final customer on the line announced that it was closing its doors and at that time BNSF decided to terminate the lease as CIRY could no longer pay for it and file to abandoned this line with the STB, which was later approved. Sad story for such a great paint scheme on a locomotive in 2010,
