I'm sure I speak for everyone. I would love to see a picture of a "warbonnet" with CN lettering and road numbers. Strange to see CN hovering just above the BNSF wedge. Thanks for sharing.

Are they likely to paint these into CN at Centralia, IL? Since that is what they did for the ex-UP/CNW Dash 8s.

As Lewis stated earlier CN has also been buying former Union Pacific Dash 8's and repainting them into CN colors in Southern Illinois. Good catch & photo.

As stated in my caption, CN 2158 is the former BNSF/ATSF 846.

Oh yes, your great photo clearly shows it is ex BNSF. I just find it interesting they are buying both BNSF & UP units to beef up their fleet. Very interesting photo. I like it a lot.

Now that is an interesting sight to see the CN wet noodle with the BNSF swoosh, although I like CN's red black and white coloration.
