I grew up with that siding in my parents back yard. I was playing in a Little League Baseball game when we heard the fire siren go off and a few minutes later saw all the fire truck go by. At the time we had no idea what was going on. Later that night a fire investigator and the NY State Trooper Investigator showed up to the house to see if my self or any of my friends were horsing around on the train tracks earlier that day. The fire investigator new my family and new that we use to have to go on the rail bed all the time to get our baseballs that we hit over the bushes. And yeah being kids we would go watch the trains and wave to the crews.

The blood starts to rush when I see an engine or damaged cars because someone tampered with railroad property. I pray that the culprits responsible were caught and persecuted to the full extent of the law. Not much difference between tampering with an auto and getting someone killed! Shame should enter people's hearts!

As I stated prior, I use to live with the siding in my back yard. To this day, no one knows who did it. I know me and my friends didn't do it because we were playing ball, but living in a small town, you would think someone would have said something, but to my knowledge, no one has ever been charged.
