This car was built for the CB&Q's Denver Zephyr. It was CBQ 4736, and was the last corrugated stainless steel dome built for the Q. It was also the first passenger car rebuilt by BN, becoming BN 4688, among very few cars which actually received a BN number. It was sold to Amtrak and became AMTK 9458, was again sold to a private individual in 1993 and finally sold to the ACWR in 1996.

The subtle spotting features of this car help identify it. The full length skirt makes it a Burlington car while the recessed letter board (a lack of corrugations, as opposed to a letter board applied over corrugations,) indicates a circa 1955 build, that translates into a Denver Zephyr car. The vent over the first small window under the dome indicates a buffet kitchen, which means there is a lounge that goes along with that feature. Also under the dome is a crew dormitory, and a coach section rounds out the floor plan. I believe the two cars in the series were Silver Cup and Silver Kettle.
