This unit was departing Cheyenne about the time UP 844 was supposed to leave this past April. We would get excited everytime we'd hear this unit on the scanner until it added that last '4' in the call. Such a tease! Nice image...even with the extra '4'!

Yes UP 8444 was the "other" Heritage unit that gathered outside SLC, Utah 3 years ago for that photo shoot.
