Classic! Soo Line in Michigan, F's and snow - an East coast gem!

Chuck, this is a great story and a terrific picture. My dad and I occasionally visited Magog, PQ. Dad would sit in the CPR station so he could hear the telegraph key and box sounding inbound/outbound telegrams. The operator who we became friends with used to work for Soo Line and Rock Island. Both systems used telegraph for train orders as well as telegrams in the 50's in remote areas.
