This picture has a little of everything for those fans hungering for the old days. You are showing us a vintage terminal with a ubiquitous electric motor and old Athearn box cars. So the guys at Westinghouse or GE put a box on wheels and called it a locomotive. Some would say an electromotive. Think about the lineage here, CUT, NYC, PC and if it could have hung on longer, Conrail. Harmon was good to you, George. As you were taking this shot, progress was in the works. New construction was starting and all things bright and beautiful were disappearing right before our eyes. .
