I've never seen a battery box door open on an operating locomotive before. With that, the leaning hood door and the dirt and rust, this looks like something from a deadline (or the Rock Island...)
The difference between protruding and flush radiator grilles on the U30Cs is obvious here. Checking a roster, the second must thus come from the L&N 1534-49 series. Since its number ends in 1, it must be 7231-ex-1536 or 7241-ex-1547. 7241 got the early "CSX Transportation" scheme before this date, so I have an ID on the second unit.
