That's an amazing story. I'm sorry your girlfriend had to witness the accident, and then to watch, tragically, the woman speeding off. Then your diligent follow-up All so sudden, all in a moment - what a slice!
By the way your photo is excellent. This and your story reminded me of the opening scene in 'The Horse Whisperer' (the book's account more so than the movie) - how events collide and alter a person.
