Pigs Eye Yard (named after the nearby lake) is ex-Milwaukee Road and the yard tracks this side of the joint CP/BNSF mainline are BNSF's Dayton Bluff Yard (ex-CB&Q). A really nice shot Greg.

Pigs Eye was a featured story in Trains Magazine in 1960. It was titled "Cow and Calf in Pigs Eye." To find out that this yard is still fully functional is amazing. Thanks Greg.

I'll need to get a copy of that 1960 trains magazine. That was more than a few years before I was in this world, but I'm sure I'd enjoy the article.
