Great shot! Looks like at least the 4-Runner is trying to keep up!

I like the framing/composition of that shot and especially the idea of a (steam) train in the middle of a lot of street traffic - just imaging the car drivers so close at such a massive piece of living history. :-)

I have to say this is SO cool! I can only imagine the thoughts that would go through my mind if I was cruising down the highway and this huge piece of equipment went past me.

Niiiiiiiice one there Charles! How LA; sunshine, smog, eucalyptus, freeways, cars, and, and a steam locomotive? Great catch!

Maybe the best train-in-the-highway shot I have seen! Nice location, interesting highway and hill detail, nice angle on the train.

Talk about contrast.....A steam era steam locomotive running down a modern highway! Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I wonder if that's a buff in the SUV with the head sticking completely out of the sunroof. Pretty cool stuff.

My favorite shot of the recent San Bernardino trip. Such a neat location. Excellent shot Charles.

Great shot, Charles! A massive Interstate divided by a classic steam locomotive isn't a common sight! Side note... I love how the highways in California are referred to with the prefix "The" before the number. The only road referred to like that out here in Jersey is "The 1 and 9".
