Nice picture,John. I like to kitbash transfer cabooses in N scale and am always on the hunt for prototype pictures.

I loved those cabooses, but I never got any photos of them. Nothing like riding in a box!

Chicago & North Western shop crews actually did "Kit-bash" several Transfer Cabooses in some C&NW shops. Quite a few of these were actually built on old flatcars and the box for the crew was added to it to create a Transfer Caboose. They were very handy, and easily created. All in the C&NW shops.
