On one hand I think about just how quickly things change when I recall WC trains plying these now missing rails during my college years, on the other hand I dimly realize that this scene is nearly a quarter century old.

That building is the Janzen House. I used to park next to it when I worked for MFC back in the late 1990s. Just to the right of the porch, in the background, you can see the old bridge that was over Front St that you drove under to get into downtown from the south. That bridge was taken down, along with the trestle to the old DSS&A ore dock about 15 years ago. I have some pictures somewhere of that being taken down. I'll have to try to find them, scan them and upload them here.
