Interesting locomotive whose nickname was ostensibly earned by the lateral "waddling" movement created by the side rod action. But then again, as urban legend has it, by its shape. Whatever, they routinely managed grades up to 2.2%!

The Swiss equivalent of a Shay, due to the pulling power these "Crocs" had. Georg, are the tri-headlights new or were they original to this and subsequent series of these type of locomotive?
