Notice the big boy second out. This shot gives me that "down home" feeling. Thanks Bernie.

A shot like this makes me wish I'd spent a little of my time in Georgia, great work Bernie!

The good old days of railroading in my generation. Nice Photo. Don't see waves like that much anymore

I can only hope the trains I'm shooting today bring back the memories your shots do. Awesome.

Bernie... This photo makes me long for the "good ol' days" of this era and I'm glad I was around to see and experience this brand of railroading. If you're like me, we just didn't realize how special it was until it was gone. This is a great photo and please keep hittin' us with your wonderful classics!

Bernie, I have been enjoying your 80's pics, and I was exactly 2 years old the day before this pic was taken, I only wish I could've been able to railfan back in this era, it kind of makes you think of what the people in the future will think of todays railroading.

I think the SCL air-horn was the best. I like the U36B now and seeing it together with the U36C is a real treat. Thanks Bernie!

Nice shot of a bygone era. I can hear them U-boats barking now.

This really shows off the height differences between GE's four and six-axle power. And nice detail, too, since so much of the engineer is visible.
