That is an awesome car! I don't know whether or not you knew this, but a HO Scale Prototype Modeler by the name of Al Mayo actually did this car for a prototype. Here's the video if anyone is interested: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfEePd6pdW4. He did a great Job!

This was made by a graffiti artist called Aware, subverting the UP "We Will Deliver" logo on this hopper. It's very interesting work, although I'd like to know why he painted a truck on a train, but then kept the UP symbol.
That's quite a twist on vandalism!
Looks like a freightliner.
I wonder...did they have to re-stencil the reporting marks and such, or did the vandal carefully paint around them? I hope this photo being posted here doesn't encourage other vandals to try to top this.
Looks like the reporting marks were covered and restenciled by the car shops.
The UP herald was carefully painted around.

Caught this on NS 32Q from Alton Southern Yard to Decatur, IL. a good while back ago. Must of made it back around the area, great pic, Rick!
Maybe it's a comment on the competition of freight being moved on truck vs. train?
The road vs rail debate is always very heated here in Australia. We all know rail is cheaper per tonne of freight to transport between larger populated centres but does the Federal Government recognise this? Nope! I guess it comes down to the fact the trucking industry have a better lobby group!
I have seen at least a dozen cars in mexico with the "aware" marks on them and this guy who ever he is does a good job, always respecting the reporting marks.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't get it... Can anyone explain what this means?
If instead of AWARE, it said ZACH, you would read ZACH WILL DELIVER. Come on...use a bit of your imagination.
