Nice catch Travis, I still wonder what the Cranemaster guys did with the blades they cut down at Brighton Park, IL. couple years ago. At least they are gentle about bringing them down to the ground.

No, it's not sad to see old technology replaced by new/better/more efficient technology to make the railroad run more effectively, especially in hard economic times. I'm sure CSX did the cost-effectiveness analysis and this was a winner. Hopefully a museum will get a set of the signals, bridge and all, because that's where they belong.
